Organizations trading within the East Africa region are exchange voluminous amount of personal data. However, the data protection laws applicable across the East Africa region vary from country to country. It is essential to know how the laws and regulations of each country establish clear guidelines for collection, processing, and security, thereby promoting trust among individuals and organizations across the region. The aim of these resources and infographics is to harmonize and explain data protection laws and regulations of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.
